Activities on the water

Lake Mégantic is a 27-square-kilometer recreational area surrounded by villages and mountains. It is the source of the Chaudière River, which flows all the way to the St. Lawrence River. To the southeast, there is also Lac aux Araignées, which features a beautiful beach and stunning views. Access the water right near your lodging via the beach at Parc des Vétérans and the beach at Parc de l’OTJ.

Wingfoil

Lac-Mégantic is the perfect spot for wingfoiling. It offers easy, free access to the water, favorable wind conditions, and a large, obstacle-free area to ride.

Just a stone’s throw from our lodging, you can access the water via the public beach at Parc des Vétérans. A sandy access point with plenty of space for your gear. You’ll find additional access points at the OTJ park and Baie-des-Sables.
