A new destination for mountain bikers! Finally, the Mont Ste-Cécile trail system is open to outdoor enthusiasts. This mountain is part of the Appalachian mountain range and features prominently in the region’s photo gallery. The mountain stands at an elevation of 895 m, with a vertical drop of 420 m, and offers over 580 acres of terrain.

Grand Tour of lake Mégantic

With its many scenic views of the lake and mountains, this is the most popular route in the area! It’s a 56-km course with 512 meters of elevation gain, perfect for intermediate riders.

Road bike

From the Lake to Mont-Mégantic

Start your tour of Lake Mégantic by heading up the mountain via Val-Racine or Saint-Augustin-de-Woburn. Then, ride 5.3 km from the base to the summit of Mont-Mégantic at an elevation of 1,100 meters. This section of the route has an average gradient of 9.6%, with a few sections exceeding 15%. The view from the summit is well worth the trip!
